SDDC POLITICAL PUNDIT CONTEST

Fall 2002

Are you the anti-Karl (Rove, that is)?  Would the Democrats be enjoying veto-proof majorities in the 108th Congress were the DNC to hire you as its chief strategist?  Then, baby, it’s time to put up or shut up – it’s your chance to be SDDC’s Fall 2002 Champion Pundit!

Below we’ve listed 25 different races of local, state or national interest.  You have to 1) circle the winner in each race and 2) “weight” your pick.  The pick you are surest of should be weighted “25,” the pick you are next surest of should be weighted “24,” and so on, until the pick you are most nervous about is weighted “1.”  All correct picks earn their entrant their corresponding weight in points.  The entrant with the most points wins!  Entries may be hand delivered to the Past President; or they may be emailed to pundit@sddemoclub.org NLT Monday, Nov. 4, 2002; or they may be mailed to Pundit Contest c/o San Diego Democratic Club  PO Box 33050 San Diego, CA  92163 (postmarked NLT Monday, Nov. 4, 2002).  The top three winners will receive fabulous prizes (no, not a Sen. Clinton bobblehead doll!) and the Top 10 entrants will be listed in the November/December issue of Political Voice.  (And don’t forget to give us your name/phone!)
